Clean and friendly

I enjoyed stopping at Whitefish KOA. KOA sits in between Whitefish and North Kalispell. Park was clean and staff was friendly

Wonderful rustic cabin

Really cool cabin located right off the North Fork rd just north of Polebridge MT. The road near the cabin is extremely busy and dusty during the day but at night hardly anyone comes by. Summer months are very busy.

Small and limited camping

Moose Lake is a really small campground at the end of the road. Plenty of parking for day use but limited to only a few spots for dispersed tent camping. Lake was very calm and quiet. I would have rated this 3 stars if they had more camping spots.

Perfect small lake camping

Red Meadow Lake is a small lake with only few camping spots, very remote and peaceful. Fishing on the lake is good, summer swimming and kayaking. Most of the camping spots have fire rings and food safe boxes. Perfect location for star gazing at night and the PNW Trail run close by.

4x4 Recommended

Tuchuck campground is a perfect location for an overnight camp when traveling from Polebridge MT to Eureka MT. The road is well marked but does pass thru several locations that have been covered with rock slides due to recent forest fires. Road is single track in spots but does pass thru several remote locations. Camp ground has a creek running to the south side with a good amount camping locations. Fire rings and benches are available in most spots.

Hidden Gem

I've been camping at this locations for several years now, mostly in the fall. Wonderful camping with a lot wildlife around. Keep an eye out and camping location clean due to the bears will visit you if not. Fall camping here is very peaceful …

Watch out for the Eagles ....

Talley Lake campground is located in the Flathead National Forest west of Kalispell MT. Road heading into Talley is not paved and not well maintained, road is rutted from heavy usage in both summer and winter travel. Campground has about 40 camping locations with a pubic boat launch. Talley Lake is the second deepest lake in Montana with plenty of fishing spots. North American Bald Eagle have been spotted here in the past.

Located on the south side of Whitefish Lake.

Whitefish Lake State Park is located right on the south end of Whitefish Lake. Beautiful sunsets across the lake and wonderful views of the Northern Lights during the summer months. If your lucky and can reserve a spot on the Fourth of July you will see the city's fireworks display on the lake.

Campground has about 25 camping locations, restroom and showers, public boat launch and on site campground host. Perfect location for kayaking and paddle boarding.

As others have stated you are right next to train tracks and they do run often.

Glacier National Park at it finest

Bowman Lake has to be one of my most favorite locations in Glacier Park. Bowman Lake has a wonderful hiking trail (26.2 mile round trip) located here. The road leading up the campground is narrow and trailers are restricted from use. During the summer months this location will need advance reservations due to limited space. Best time to visit this camping location is duding the months of September and October.

Conveniently located in Whitefish MT.

Wonderful little campground located just south of Whitefish Montana on highway 93. This KOA has a lot to offer from cabins to RV parking and several tent camping locations. Just a few minutes drive north and you will enter the small ski town of Whitefish Montana. Plenty of places to eat, shop or buy your groceries. During the summer months be sure to visit Whitefish Lake. 20 minute drive east and you will arrive in West Glacier Park. This RV park is located in a wooded area and is very family friendly with a local pizzeria on site.

Very crowed, lots of people

This location fills up very quickly, very popular but they do allow reservations. There are trail access to some of the best day hikes in the park, including a hike to one of the park's largest glacier, Primitive camping is available for $10.00 per night.

Hidden just outside Whitefish MT

Great Location, they have several different camping locations to pick from. You can rent a cabin, ground tent sight or normal back in parking. Half of the camping spots are covered with pine trees. Great little place to eat (pizza) on location.
