Excellent find!

Beautiful spot! Right by the river! We got the last spot down by the river and the pit toilet. $18 for non residents. Bring your own toilet paper, the toilet was not stocked very well. Fire pits and picnic table at each site. Just beautiful views! By far my favorite spot this trip!

Nice place for an overnight

Beautiful views. Be prepared for tall grass and horse flies. We parked at the end by the private fence and by morning several hikers with dogs came and parked right next to our site. Good Verizon service.

Great find

Very close to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Rapid City and Hill City. Lake Sheridan was a great place to go cool off. Very dispersed camping. Pack in Pack out. No cell service. At first we didn’t think there was a spot to pull off and then found a perfect circular area for us in our travel trailer and our friends car camping. No fires allowed when we were there. We stayed 2 nights and planned to sight see so left our stuff and was never bothered.

Quiet peaceful spot on the lake

Excellent find and with electricity for only $10 a night. Pretty secluded with only one other camper. Some local traffic. Vault toilet withTP is far from where we camped and the old school toilets were a little too sketchy for me. If they were cleaned up I would have been brave enough to try. Such a beautiful place! Bugs are bad! Be prepared. Each site has picnic table and fire ring on nice concrete pad.

A beautiful spot by the lake

Beautiful spot by the lake. Be sure to turn left at first sign to find campsites. Was a little frustrating that a family seemed to have taken up permanent residence and was obnoxious with the generator. Trash was overflowing and could use a little more attention. Clean vault toilets with TP. It was really beautiful with the sunset.

Nice stop

Easy to find. Affordable overnight stay with electric. Beautiful lake. Friendly campers and hosts. Pit toilets. Spotty Verizon.

Excellent find in the woods!

Found the perfect spot for our trailer and our friends car camping. Clean vault toilets. Each site has fire ring and picnic table. Pack in pack out even though some didn’t get the memo yet park service was there in the morning to clean. Limited to no cell service.

Excellent find

Dispersed camping with a glorious v view. Please pack out what you pack in. Some trash obvious yet cleaner now than past reviews. Camped right on the bank. Fire pits and concrete pads at most sites. Dumpster on site so please use it. Easy to find and private spacious sites available.

Nice place to stay

Beautiful relaxing place. I’m a fan of dispersed camping yet this was still private even for a campground. Nice bathhouses with laundry. Individual campsite trash cans. They provided free wood! Nice flat paved sites with water and electric for only $25

Awesome find!

What a beautiful, peaceful place! Toilets, fire pits, picnic tables, and dumpsters for trash on site. We had the whole place to ourselves! Easy to get off from Rt 400. Sites pretty level. Glad we found this place! Great view of the lake!

Small yet convenient

Very friendly staff. Convenient for an overnight stay. Affordable. Thankful for electricity as it was cold. Watch for the thorny burrs that get all over shoes especially if you have a dog…. Would be very painful for them. RVs very close to one another. Never accessed the bathhouse yet one was available with a combo. Good WiFi

Nice place to stop!

Some areas are rough yet our Bronco and Bushwhacker conquered it. Keep driving until you find a spot. Private and secluded. Fire pits at most spots. Great sky view. Very dispersed so pack in and pack out.

Nice surprising find

We arrived later than we wanted to yet luckily found a spot. Spaces were private. A little trashy. Wish folks would clean up after themselves. Cows walking around sites. Completely dispersed so take what you need. Beautiful scenery. Several cars going way too fast down the main road in.

Amazing!

What a beautiful spot! Toilets were locked so come prepared to pack in and pack out. We tried to get as close as we could yet there are some deep sandy areas so be careful! Bugs were bad but totally worth it with that sunrise and sunset!

A nice overnighter

Easy to find. Small campground but was only 4 of us there so not too bad. Very beautiful scenery. Get your groceries before you get off your exit very limited on options. Toilets were stinky so I’m glad I had my private portable. Quiet morning.

Spectacular!

We found the most amazing site! We felt like we were on top of the world! Clear open skies! Loved the sound of the cows, coyotes, and owls! Total dispersed camping! Thank you to whoever left us wood!

A stunning view

We arrived late and was a little confusing about spots. We found a prime spot right on the river that was empty so parked started setting up and noticed that there was a slip on the pole stating reserved so we moved and noticed in the morning no one was there. That was disappointing yet nonetheless we had a nice spot. Was quiet and stunning view. Toilets were convenient. Close to Livingston. Very bumpy road coming in.

A beautiful way to wake up

What an amazing place! We arrived in the dark and woke up to the most amazing sunrise! Toilets. No electricity. Only $24 for non-residents

Great place to stay!

Wish we had more time to stay! The resort was very accommodating and put us near a bathhouse even with a late notice reservation. Very nice bathhouses! Quiet and clean! Very beautiful place!

Tucked away treasure

Great find! Small yet only us and one tent couple camping. Toilets clean. Water and electric … so score! Close to restaurants and taverns. Recommend for a quick getaway!
