Accessible via Sun River Canyon Road, Home Gulch sits within Lewis & Clark National Forest and runs from Memorial Day through November 30. The campground provides drinking water and toilets, but no pets are allowed. The Sun River runs nearby, though the current can run fast and the surrounding banks tend toward swampy ground at higher water levels. Sun Canyon L&C Campground sits less than a mile away, and Sun River Lodge is close enough for a meal or internet access. No cell service should be expected. Pack bug spray, particularly earlier in the season.
