Accessible by paved road with reservations available year-round, Kamiah/Clearwater River KOA provides full-hookup sites for RVs along with six tent camping spots. The campground sits across the road from the Clearwater River, offering water access for fishing and recreation. Sites feature electric, water, and sewer hookups, with pull-through options available for larger rigs.
Most sites accommodate RVs, with tent campers finding less crowded conditions during peak season. Level sites with shade trees provide relief during summer months, though spacing becomes tight when the campground fills to capacity. The facility includes clean restroom facilities with hot showers, laundry machines, and WiFi access throughout the property.
"Bathrooms were a rustic motif, clean, Hot showers," notes Marilyn K., highlighting the maintained facilities. Staff assistance with site selection and local information helps visitors navigate the area. The campground allows pets and provides dump station access for those needing waste disposal services.
The location works well for travelers exploring the Clearwater River corridor or those needing reliable hookups and amenities. With rates ranging from $40-60 per night, the campground serves RV travelers prioritizing full services over remote camping experiences.
