With reservations available and full hookups for RVs up to 48 feet, Castor River Ranch Campground sits alongside the Castor River in Marquand, Missouri. The $50 nightly rate includes electric, water, and sewer connections, plus access to restrooms with showers and a dump station for those who need it.
Each campsite comes with its own water spigot for washing dishes or filling containers. The campground allows both tent and RV camping, with the river running directly adjacent to the camping area. Chrissy W. notes it's a "really nice place on the castor river" where "the water feels good and is clear." The single-person bathroom facility includes air conditioning and a tiled shower, with additional outdoor rinse stations for cleaning up after river activities.
The owner provides complimentary upstream shuttles for floating back down to camp—campers just need to bring their own tubes or flotation devices. Pets are welcome throughout the property. The campground doesn't offer trash service, so visitors need to pack out their waste, though a nearby winery allows dumpster use for $5. For those exploring the broader region, campgrounds around Fredericktown provide additional options.
Book ahead during peak season, and consider bringing extra water containers to take advantage of the individual spigots at each site.
