Just off Highway 67 in southern Missouri, Camelot RV Campground sits on a terraced hillside with mature trees throughout the property. The campground operates year-round and accommodates both overnight travelers and long-term residents, with all sites featuring full hookups including 30/50 amp electric, water, sewer, cable TV, and WiFi.
Sites are gravel-surfaced and generally level, though spacing varies with some positioned close together. The terraced layout means trash bins are located uphill from lower sites, which could present challenges for campers with mobility limitations. Campground roads are narrow and appear to follow a one-way pattern, though signage isn't always clear. Staff escort arrivals to their assigned sites and provide setup assistance when needed.
The property includes an on-site store and propane station for basic supplies. "Very clean, well maintained, quiet, but still close to dining and shopping," notes Paul P.. The location provides convenient access to Poplar Bluff's restaurants and services while maintaining a quieter atmosphere away from main traffic routes.
Check-out is at 11 AM rather than the more common noon departure time. For travelers passing through the region, consider exploring campgrounds just outside Poplar Bluff for additional overnight options along your route.
