Maybe we are spoiled by Arkansas State Parks and the standard amenities they have. Not having water available except at the camp host, and no open restrooms and showers until after April 1, regardless of when the last freeze is was inconvenient for a spring break trip.

The signage is not great and the visitor center was closed (presumably due to COVID concerns) so there was no one to ask directions. We ended up dragging our camper through the whole park before we found the road to the campgrounds.

The setting is quiet and secluded and the site we had was level and spacious. We had to be completely self supported except electricity, which was fine but it would have been nice to have the showers open at the least.

We did a 1 night stay passing through to St. Louis. All sites we saw were full hookups and our site was nice and level. Close to town so everything you could need is convenient and easy to access. Would stay again.

Everytime we are here we get amazed by the place! There is no place like Petit Jean!

Pretty full the weekend we were here, but didn't feel crowded at all.

The bathrooms are a bit of a hike from the campsites.

We will put this one on our list of return to camps.

Super quiet, almost had the place to ourselves. Only 20 minutes from Crater of Diamonds State Park. Right on Lake Greeson.

All camper sites have 50A, 30A & 15A service along with water, with really good water pressure. Hot shower and clean bathrooms to boot. They have picnic tables and a table for your cook stove, a grill and fire ring in all spots too. There are two spots at the dump station and a clean water station as well…

We will certainly be back!

Really clean and well maintained. Bathrooms were cleaned few times per day and had A/C! Spots were generous and most had a covered picnic table. We had plenty of space, 50/30/15 amp service and water at all the sites. Great views of the lake and Bull Shoals Dam, just about 5 miles from Bull Shoals State Park on the White River for some world class trout fishing. The lake has all the fishing you might want, bass, crappie, and walleye are abundant.

We went with our Cub Scout pack. DeGray loves scouts and scouting. They were able to accommodate almost 60 of us camping in the park and we hardly saw any other campers. The views are amazing and the Park Rangers are really knowledgeable and really love their park, which makes for a great experience for everyone.

The area is very clean and well maintained. There are good hiking trails that also give you good vistas along the way.
