Description
Tucked just off Highway 61 in historic Woodville, The Joshua is a clean, easygoing home base for exploring Mississippi's southwestern corner and the Lower Mississippi River region. Whether you're passing through on a Great River Road trip, here to soak up Natchez history, or just looking for a quiet, dependable place to park the rig, you'll find level sites, reliable hookups, and a no-fuss stay.
We offer 20 back-in RV sites with 30/50-amp full hookups on gravel pads, plus reliable Wi-Fi throughout — handy if you need to stay connected on the road. Shared laundry is on-site, and pets are welcome, so the whole family can come along. Parking is roomy and easy to maneuver, with space for trucks and tow vehicles.
The location is the real draw for anyone who likes to get outside. Clark Creek Natural Area — 700 acres of loess-bluff forest with some 50 waterfalls — is one of Mississippi's hidden gems for hiking, and Lake Mary, a beautiful oxbow of the Mississippi, draws anglers and swimmers (the spring fishing is excellent). Wilkinson County Park is just four miles up Highway 61 with a fishing lake and hiking and biking trails, and Cat Island National Wildlife Refuge near St. Francisville protects some of the region's last bottomland hardwood forest. For history and town days, downtown Woodville's historic square and museums are minutes away, St. Francisville is a short 22-mile drive north, and Natchez — with its antebellum homes, riverfront, and fall balloon festival — is about 40 minutes up the road.
Quiet, well-kept, and centrally located for the region — come stay a night or settle in for a longer visit. Monthly and extended stays welcome — inquire for rates.
