Beautiful lake with older facilities

Lake Mary Crawford is a beautiful lake. Fishing is the main focus. There are both camper and primitive camping sites. The bath house in the camping area is old but clean. There is a newer bathroom in the main building at the entrance of the park. The park has a number of wooden swings set up by the water. There are also a number of piers for fishing. There is a very primitive boat launch.

Quiet and simple

The road into the lake area is a little rough but it's only about a mile and a half from the highway to the lake so it's not bad.

Sites are first come first serve with an honor box, I think roughly 20 pads. $17/ night if you don't want to use electric, $22 if you do. I went without electric but each site has power and water. No sewer hookups but there is a dump station by the bath house. Bath house itself is functional but pretty rough. The lake was recently drained and renovated... I wish they could have extended the renovation to the park's facilities.

The concrete pads are not huge but they get the job done and I think they are all back in spots. When I camped there was a good size Class A on a spot by the lake. This was the only other site taken when I was here. You'll likely be on your own if you come during the week.

Overall beautiful lake and I hear the fishing is pretty good after the renovation and restocking. The campground meets my needs perfectly but it's far from "glamping."
