Smaller campground in northern MN

This campground is great if you have smaller kids or group camping. Campgrounds are close together and a lot of the great campsitess are already taken by permanent campers. They do have nice bathrooms and showers. We do love the area and the beautiful lake the campground and some sites overlook.

Vermillion Trail Campground

The campground had group sites which was really nice as we camped with our friends so we had two pull behind campers. We stayed in 1a and 1b. The camp sites and beach where clean and up kept. The bathrooms were clean too. The next time we camp here we would like to try the Group site down by the lake. Very nice campground we will be back

Lots to do at Vermilion Trail Park Biwabik, MN

Upon arriving you are greeted by friendly and helpful campground hosts. There are three different loops and areas to camp. The campsites are a little smaller and are not private (that may change as more leaves will be coming in on the trees) but you for sure do see your neighbor. There are a variety of things to do from this campground. You are in the heart of the Mesabi Trail, a 132 mile bike/hike trail system. The trails are very well marked:) Also the campground is only three miles away fro Giants Ridge Ski Resort/Golfing. The campground is also on Embarrass Lake, and features boat landings and a sand beach with playground. The bath house/showers were clean and well maintained. A great place to camp overall.
