Description

Starlight Campground is a quiet RV park in a peaceful setting in “Up North” Michigan. Formerly known as Whispering Pines RV Resort, the campground has been reborn with new ownership in 2020 and a new name for the 2021 season that reflects our commitment to create a camping destination where life is simpler, easier, and where families can learn to reconnect and create lasting memories.

Starlight Campground is a family friendly campground nestled amidst mature pine trees, with cozy campsites, full facilities, a beautiful hiking trail, both vintage and contemporary trailer rentals, impeccably clean facilities, incredible sunsets, and star-filled night skies. It is those dark skies that have inspired our name, carried over into our Starry Nights Weekend during the annual Perseids meteor shower in August, just one of a season full of themed weekends filled with carefully planned activities.

We also strive to provide our guests with a level of hospitality and service that will exceed their expectations. We are home of the “Welcome Wood”, where you will find three pieces of firewood already in your campfire ring as our way of saying “Thank you” for being our guest. We will even deliver wood, ice, and store items directly to your site. Think of it as room service in the great outdoors!

Awesome stay!

Unfortunately we were only able to spend one be night here. The place is clean and well kept. Showers. were amazing. Staff was fantastic! We were Renning a little late and the office called us to give us perfect directions for checking in late. Luckily we got here before the office closed so we could meet staff face to face for check in. They made us feel like family the minute we walked through the door. We would defiantly visit again!

Great place to Camp with the family

We camped here and it was ana amazing experience! The park was clean and the staff were very nice. They have an app you can download and do everything from ordering firewood and ice to seeing what's going on during their theme weekends. They kept my kids busy while still allowing for relaxing time. The store is well stocked too with everything you may need. Overall great place to stay

Great campground for a family!

Great campground for a family! Swing set, walking trail, ORV trail, pool, volleyball, pickle ball court and other games! This campground is extremely clean and has beautiful bathrooms/showers. Park is all shorter pines so if your looking for a wooded/forest feel this might not be your park.

Cellphone service with Verizon was great and WiFi was available at the campground. Guests were all very polite and quiet during our visit as well :)
