Most welcoming small campground.

Traveling along the western border Michigan on our motorcycle over the 4th of July, we were in in the Traverse City area and finding a hard time finding an open campsite. A Google search (because we hadn’t found this App yet) connected me to this campground. At first it seemed to be too far inland and off the beaten trail, but the owners were so nice on the phone that we took a chance. From the minute we pulled in, we were welcomed by the owner and the other campers. It was as if we arrived at our own family reunion. We love these smaller campgrounds. In just one evening, we met and talked at length with 4 families. Showers were hot and the large newer pole building that housed the check in counter was filled with games and space to meet people.

Nice and new!

Rode by on a bike packing trip. Wasn’t sure it was open at first glance but the owners were incredibly nice and welcoming!

They have a brand new building filled with games, tv, and other fun things to do inside.
