Five campsites line Lake Superior's shore on the southern Keweenaw Peninsula, each with fire rings and ample parking space a short walk from the sites. The municipal campground operates with vault toilets and a covered manual water pump, while sites sit just behind the beach with a small hill providing some wind protection. Campers must obtain permits from Lake Linden about 10 miles west, where office hours are limited and advance contact is recommended. Wild blueberries and huckleberries grow throughout the area during late summer. For additional options, Lake Linden Village Campground provides another lakeside choice nearby.
