Sitting on the shore of Healy Lake in Bear Lake, Michigan, this municipal campground runs from April through October and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Sites are numerous, fees have run around $13, and payment is cash only. The access road has been described as washboard in condition, so lower-clearance vehicles may want to factor that in. RVs are limited to 20 feet. A boat launch provides direct water access, and the campground includes drinking water, toilets, picnic tables, and trash service. Pets and alcohol are permitted. Bring your own wood and ice, as neither is available on-site.
Description
The campground is under township management
