Diamond Lake County Park sits on the shores of its namesake all-sport lake, roughly five miles southeast of White Cloud in western Michigan's Newaygo County. The county-managed campground accommodates RVs up to 40 feet with full hookups including electric, water, and sewer connections, plus amenities like showers and a dump station. Walk-in access keeps the grounds pedestrian-focused.
The lake draws heavy weekend and holiday traffic but quiets down considerably during weekdays, according to campers who return regularly. Water access allows for kayaking, including paddle trips to a party store on the opposite shore. For a different camping experience, Manistee National Forest Indian Lake Campground offers forest-based sites about four miles north.
