Cozy, Quiet, Very friendly staff!!

Really cool rustic sites as well as full hookup sites for rv and a boat access to lake Hamlin that you can take right out to lake michigan. In a very convenient spot right in between ludington and Big Sable point lighthouse. Only downside is if you're staying in a tent the showers aren't updated so hopefully the owners get on that but that's it for the bad! This place was awesome and very cozy with nice access. Definitely going back again.

Great place to camp!

We camped here over Labor Day weekend 2020. Our site was big, there were multiple play areas for kids to play on. Bathhouse was clean and offered two showers plus there was an additional shower house. They offer kayaks and canoe rentals and have a boat dock right on the lake. Quiet hours start at 10pm and strict quiet house are at 11. I have to say that this was the quietest we have stayed.

About 20 minutes from Ludington State Park/ Lake Michigan. We would camp here again.

Not the best

Campground was privately owned and seemed to have a mix of weekend campers and full timers living in trailers. The only good part about this campground was how close it was to Ludington and Lake Michigan. Small tent site with water and electric was $35 a night. Small bath house with one shower per male/female.

Keep coming back!

Have camped here summer of 2016, 2018, and again now in 2019. Actually camped here for my bachelor party!

It’s fantastic. We book the “applewood” site each time and can’t recommend it enough. This site can hold a large group of people extremely well with a good combination of a pleasant community and seclusion from other sites. Short drive to the beach or downtown Ludington for a day trip. Showers and restrooms are pretty good for a campground.

Bonus: Firewood and general supplies are sold directly at the campground store, and canoe/kayak rentals are very affordable. Staff is very friendly, you really can’t go wrong here.
