Accessible by car with reservations available, Chester Railway Station operates as a private campground featuring converted train cars on a grassy field adjacent to active railroad tracks. The site accommodates up to four people in the caboose and allows tent camping on the surrounding grounds. Basic amenities include toilets, picnic tables, firewood, and WiFi access.
Active trains pass through regularly at night, creating an authentic railway experience that appeals particularly to train enthusiasts.
