We invite you to experience “Seclusion so close to home” at our beautiful resort. Offering Seasonal Campsites as well as Luxury Log Cabins and Camping Cabins, there is something for everyone! At our resort, you can be as active or relaxed as you like!

Located high atop the Catoctin Mountains (“the land of many deer”) in Frederick County, Maryland, we are centrally located between many historical landmarks and Area Attractions. For those looking for something to do, view our schedule of activities. There’s fun for the whole family! If it’s raining, come inside to play in the game room or look through our lending library of movies, books, and games. For outdoor enthusiasts, enjoy walks on our scenic nature trails or try to land a fish in our pond or mountain stream. Campfires and S’mores are always a hit! Great resort-style cabin for “glamping!”

Well-appointed, semi-rustic cabins set in Catoctin Mountain. Not far from the Wm. Houck lake area and trailhead to Cunningham Falls.

Our cabin came equipped with A/C and heat, full kitchenette, fireplace, screened in porch, and firepit area (including wood and fire starters!) with seating and picnic table.

Ole Mink Farm is very resort-like with a central pool and clubhouse. They also offer various activities — mainly on weekends — like cornhole tournaments and campfire gatherings.

And I can’t say enough about the customer service!! They take hospitality to whole new levels! We ran into a couple personal snags on our trip, and they were so accommodating. Even when my Mom got sick, they checked in on us and asked about her by name. What a wonderful group of owners!

If you want to “glamp,” I would HIGHLY recommend this place!

Directions

Located just 25 miles north of Frederick, MD. Take US 15 North, 18 miles to Thurmont, MD. Exit onto Route 77, West. Follow Route 77 three miles to Catoctin Hollow Road. Turn left onto Catoctin Hollow Road and travel 3 miles. Turn right onto Mink Farm Road. Travel 1½ miles to entrance on the right. From Washington:Take I-495 around Washington to 270 West to Frederick, MD. Follow directions from Frederick.
