Deep within Baxter State Park, Nesowadnehunk Lake Wilderness Campground sits along Nesowadnehunk Stream in one of the park's most remote accessible locations. The campground provides tent sites in both grassy fields and wooded areas along the stream, plus lean-tos, cabins, and a bunkhouse. Each site includes potable water hookups. Fly fishing draws anglers to the stream for native brook trout, while the boat launch provides lake access. The Doubletop Mountain trailhead starts here, and pet-friendly camping spots in the Stacyville area extend beyond the park boundaries for those traveling with dogs, as pets are not permitted within Baxter State Park itself.
