GuideEast Fork State Park Campground
A large campground spread out over multiple loops. Roads and campsites are paved. Our site #416 was spacious and secluded at the end of a dead end road. The bathhouse was a short hike away and in good condition.

Beware of additional daily Fee
Campground is clean but aging. Out-of-state visitors should be aware that they will be charged a $15.00 daily entry fee in addition to their $30-$40. camping fee. Some sights are very unlevel; others are nearly impossible to back into. The staff is nice and friendly.

Clean, spacious campground
Each lot has a small paved "driveway" for the camper to sit on, and the lot itself is very grassy and has lots of trees around. Bathrooms were very clean, seemed quite new and in good repair. Everyone staying at the campground was quiet and polite. 10/10 would stay here again!

Beautifuly kept and right next to the amazing horse park
We spent two nights here and were pleasantly surprised that most of the campsites had probably at least 50 to 60 feet between each one and lots of grass and trees. The campsite we stayed in, 140, was a pull through so that was bonus. Most of the campsites look like they had at least water and electric and I think there might have been some sites that had sewer as well. Right next-door to the Kentucky Horse Park, which is a must see. Very interesting museum and lots of barn with different types of horses in them to visit. If you buy your ticket at the campground, you would get five dollars off the admission fee.
