Description
Overview
Mine Made Adventure Park and Campground is a privately owned, family-oriented outdoor destination situated on approximately 60,000 acres of reclaimed coal land in Knott County, Eastern Kentucky. The campground serves RV campers, tent campers, and cabin guests, and is especially popular with OHV and equestrian riders who come to explore its extensive trail network.
Facilities
The property offers RV sites with electric and water hookups, primitive and modern tent sites, and cabins (approximately 384 sq ft) with private bathrooms, electric, heat/air conditioning, and refrigerators. A communal bathhouse provides restrooms and showers. A general store and playground are also on site. Wi-Fi is available at the campground and in cabins.
Recreation
The park's primary draw is its miles of OHV trails for ATVs, SxSs, and dirt bikes, as well as dedicated equestrian trails. The park closes to OHVs the first weekend of May and October for its Spring and Fall Horse Trail Ride events. Hiking trails are also available. Day-use riding passes are available for non-camping visitors.
