Nice family oriented

Spent 4 nights, nice quiet camp grounds. Was in spot number 61, closest spot to the bathhouse. Not sure it would be the best spot in midsummer as it was also closest to the dumpster. That said it was recently graded and leveled. The primary issue I had was having a smaller camper with a lower sewer connection and the sewer connection was higher than the bottom of my unit.

Decent campground with plenty of activities

Decent site by the stream. Plenty of shade and a huge hill behind our site. Bathrooms were clean.

A lot of unsupervised children running around, in the stream and riding bikes. Didn't have any problems with them, but was concerned they weren't supervised.

There was some trash at our site, a lot of broken water balloons, some bottle caps and wrappers.

One night someone stole fishing poles from our neighbor and a bunch of coolers from other sites.

Some sites are really not level!

Good time

It’s been awhile since I’ve camped at Greenbo, but we had fun. Love the nearby pool and swimming. Nice tent sites.

It's ok

Sites are not very level but they are separated somewhat. Don't eat at the lodge... I've had better food at Speedway gas station.

It’s pretty nice

A lot of their sites have full hook up but not all of them. Read the details of the sites when booking. Some of the sites have really steep grades and aren’t big rig friendly.

Check in was a breeze had out car tags on our post.

They do have a full-time camp host on site.

I didn’t use the shower 🚿 house but they do have a couple on the grounds.

They have a putt putt course but bring your own putter and ball.

There is Verizon service but it’s spotty.

They do have WiFi but it’s very slow and not secure.

Place is very pet friendly. The people we have met here are great.

Sites are wide but really close together.

Jesse Stuart Greenbo Lake Lodge

We recently stayed at Jesse Stuart Greenbo Lake Lodge from Oct 17 thru Oct 20 2019. Our was a wonderful room looking over towards the lake. The room was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a couple of minor electrical issues which we told the staff about. The only negative thing that I can say about the room is that the TV was very small for the room size. An their is no way to store any food or drinks in the room because their is no type of mini refrigerator available in the room. Which would have been nice. But we would stay at the lodge again in the future. We would give the room a score of 3.5 stars⭐️

Good for kids. Just be aware of the bad set up here.

Started out bad. Had showed up at site with no electricity available. Was told had to share box but only one 30 and one 50 amp. So if you both have a 30 amp the other has to get an adapter for the 50. 20 years of camping and never had to do that before. On the website it says 30 amp available .

The park was not willing to help me they said first come first serve for the 30 or 50 whoever is first and would not let me Borrow an adapter only willing to sell me one for $30.

Thank goodness for good campers that let us use one. Always Met good people at every campground we’ve been to but some of the staff at Greenbo is horrible.

Not willing to help you here and a bad setup.

Duckville

Do not make the same mistake my girlfriend did and feed the ducks when on the lake. They followed us all day. The campground was well maintained. However, the camp host cussed every breath and his sons ran wild. His wife or exwife yelled Tate or Mark the entire time she was there. The lodge had good food.

Love the lake!

A great place to stay by the lake! Can’t swim in the lake but nice for boating. The lodge is nice but I would recommend not eating there. Very mediocre!

Peaceful, very pretty!

Campground has recently expanded to add more sites. Lots of planned activities for the kids. Great greenhouse down the road for fun in the Fall.

Outstanding

Upon entering you will notice the excellent upkeep to the state park. The cemetery that sits on the hill is exquisite. Jesse Stuart Lodge has the grounds looking amazing and the building stands out perfectly against the lake. Well marked trails. The campground provides huge sites for plenty of recreational activities and still have space left over. Playgrounds for children. The marina is well marked and the staff in the marina store are outstanding. Very friendly, and helpful. Lake looks great!

Good Campground

Greenbo is a good campground that we’ve come to years, and over the last few it keeps getting better. Bathhouses are clean and maintained really well, good selection of primitive, electric and water, and full hook up sites. A nice lake for fishing, trails and a nice lodge with good food.
