Managed by the Kossuth County Conservation Board, Devine Wildlife Area in Bode, Iowa is a dispersed-style camping area with no developed sites, no water, no electric, and no toilet facilities. Roughly five usable spots exist for setting up camp, and the area can accommodate larger rigs. A swampy section nearby means mosquitoes are a real factor, so repellent is worth packing. The site is free to use, which makes it a reasonable overnight stop for self-sufficient campers. Lotts Creek Co Park and Ambrose A. Call State Park Campground are both within the area if developed amenities matter to your trip.
