Glo Wood Campground

Monthly workers and concert-goers find a practical base at Glo Wood Campground, where gravel sites accommodate RVs up to 50 feet with full hookups. The farm property sits 10 minutes from Ruoff Music Center, making it a convenient staging area for Noblesville events.

Sites feature 50-amp electric, water, and sewer connections along with individual picnic tables and fire rings, though some rings may be missing. Marci R. notes the "very long and nice, wide space between campers" that easily fits large RVs with tow vehicles. Gravel pads stay relatively level, requiring minimal adjustments for most rigs. The property mixes short-term visitors with monthly contract workers who maintain small gardens and personal touches around their sites.

Access comes via a dirt road that can present challenges during wet conditions, as multiple campers report difficulty navigating after rain. The campground operates under new management as of recent years. Bathhouse facilities receive mixed reviews for cleanliness, though they're described as fairly updated. Sites offer minimal shade coverage across the open farm terrain.

Storage areas around the perimeter house additional RVs, and long-term residents are common throughout the wooded sections. For travelers needing full hookups near campgrounds around Pendleton, this working campground provides straightforward amenities at $28 per night.

Many campers appreciated the spacious, quiet sites with full hookups and friendly owners. Some visitors expressed concerns about wet conditions and road navigation, though recent management changes appear positive.

Easy layover

This place is under new management.  New owners are great.  Good spot for a layover, or place to stay if at a concert or something else in the area.  It's just far enough off the beaten path, but close enough to everything.

Rip off

Overall, this Campground rips people off. As a Traveling worker I despise places like this. I gave this Campground, a$200 deposit with the intent of Renting a site for a month from them. I was supposed to move onto site in approximately a week and a half and had to cancel as I found another campground that was closer to my job site. They had my deposit approximately two days to which they were supposedly receiving a huge amount of phone calls regarding the open site Turning people down left and right. When I asked for my deposit bank, they wanted to tell me it was nonrefundable because they are losing out on money by me canceling. I would be more understanding if they had the site open but the owner it was booked all the way until I was going to move onto site. I was never told my deposit was not refundable. As a traveler, I warn other monthly campers about this place as the Owners will rip you off no problem

Simple but good

Definitely a little dated. Picnic tables cracked plastic. My site was missing fire ring but many had them. Most sites really wet but gravel pads were close to level, needed to raise one side 1”.

Good Location

We stayed here for 3 nights with a 33 ft. 5th wheel.  We had 50 amp/water and sewer. We attended 2 concerts at Ruoff Music Center.  Campground was clean and quiet, although needed to be mowed.  Sites are gravel and fairly level with a firepit and picnic table.  Not much shade at the sites and there are several long term campers.  Owner was very nice and helpful.

This is a great option for concert goers.  It was literally 10 minutes from the venue/Noblesville.

Peaceful and serene

The owners are very nice and keep up the grounds well. Our spot, like all around us was very long and nice, wide space between campers. We camped with a 38 foot travel trailer and a 20 foot Ford F250, and still had room(about the size of a golf cart). Very peaceful and serene camping out on their farm land. Most our neighbors were contract workers, so staying monthly. You can see some long term RVs in the wooded area nearby. They also provide storage so you do see RVs parked around the perimeter. We didn't use the bathhouse at all, so cannot comment on it. We had 50 amp with water and sewer at every site. Gravel drive and sites, with grass in between. Each space has their own garbage can and picnic table. Everyone we met was very nice. If you want privacy and space for a good rate, this is the place. It's close to many amenities, so location was good for us too. If it bothers you to see long term campers with their plants and gardens, etc. then look else where. Long term campers don't bother us. So we would definitely stay again.

Decent site for amphitheater camping

I stayed here in June and it was a pretty nice place. Several spots for tent camping, but several electric hookups were not functional. Bathrooms were not impeccable, but they were fairly updated. The only real problem we encountered was the dirt road through the site was difficult to navigate, even though it hadn’t rained for a few days. Just a lot of wear and tear. But super friendly campground, and will definitely return!
