Great little quiet camp ground

Far enough away from the interstate you don't hear the traffic. No nearby trains either. The grounds were neat and clean. The fishing pond is great and beautiful. Big rig friendly. Bob showed up as I pulled in and made sure I was all set for the night. This place is going in my saved list for sure.

Fair

Campground with mostly electric only sites. The bathroom is not very clean and needs attention. Sites are gravel, with some kind of level and some not.

Quiet, serene spot

Wonderful private campground surround by woods, an open field and a small pond. There is a small playground, covered patio, bathrooms with showers and plenty of lawn space! Pet friendly and looks very ADA accessible, I had a great time spending one night here with my dog. $15 for tent/primitive camping, $25 for electric!

Nice campground site

Stayed here for the night on a roadtrip in a tent only. Right off the interstate. I got there late at night and was able to get a location without a formal reservation. The owners are super nice and we took care of everything in the morning, hassle free.

Nice little campground!

We stopped for an over night, arrived late. Owners very accomodating and very nice. No reservation was needed, just stop in, find a site and we'll find you in the morning. Easy close access from I-70, only 7 miles out of Effingham at the Montrose exit. 30 amp, spacious sites. Water available to fill tank. Shower house/bathrooms. Everything very clean. Nice fishing pond. Quiet. We had 30ft travel trailer, no site issues. Probably stopping on our return trip.

Great little campground

This campground is pretty close to our house (15 mom drive) so we camp here especially on weekends when we have to be home early or have commitments during the day. Campground is clean. Sites are good size. Playground is good! Shower house always clean. The family that owns it are great people! We love camping here!
