As advertised

We were here, and the ONLY campers! Loved that. Sites were spacious. Toilets were clean enough and stocked. Road in was rough blue easily passable.

Just parked but lovely so far!

Easy to get to in with large passenger van. Parked right by the reservoir. Peaceful. Only bugs really close to the water. Relatively cool temps and breezy.

Nice way to stay close to Capitol Reef. Heavy rain yesterday kept us from coming earlier, but things have mostly stabilized. No problem getting here from 24.

Necessities okay, loud road noise

A very functional camp. I was solo on the grounds mid week. 18$ seemed steep, but there was electric and scattered water pumps. Potable toilet no showers or wash rooms. Nice playground if you have kids. Nice and flat with a fair amount of shade.

No Shade at site 72

Overall campground was safe and chill. Easy walk to the dunes that lead to the beach. Site 72 had no shade and was not pleasant during the day with the sun making it feel much hotter than it was. Retreated to the butterfly grove for awhile to get cool. Found out the butterfly action ends in February.

Pretty views, gross bathrooms

This park is pretty quiet, the lake itself looked nasty - no swimming allowed. Primitive sites were walk in. Other sites had electric. There were some cabins available. The bathrooms were not cleaned the whole time I was there, and they were disgusting. Showers required a push button activation every 10-15 seconds, but after About the 10th time I did get a little hot water.

Tidy enough, pretty lake, be careful, some tent spots are on hills

Check in was easy and friendly, a fair number of open sites, the lake is really pretty, the showers were pretty decent. Other Campers were well behaved and it was fairly peaceful. 1/2 the park has good shade, the other half has no shade.

Everything I needed, and quiet

Other reviews are accurate. Showers/playground/picnic area/fishing pond. Caught a beautiful sunset.
