Salmon River Dispersed — Salmon National Forest

Open Idaho high-country stretches along this reach of the Salmon River corridor in the Salmon National Forest, where a broad riverside flat gives way to a gravel beach backed by a wide meadow — both right on the water. The area is large enough to absorb multiple groups without crowding, and bigger rigs park easily in the meadow while tents and smaller setups can settle onto the beach itself.
