A wide gravel road leads in, and at least one camper has confirmed a large fifth wheel made the drive without issue. The lake allows fishing but no motorized boats. Pit toilets are on-site. Those exploring camping near Beaverhead National Forest will find North Van Houten Campground just up the road as an alternative if sites here are taken. Pack water, as no potable source is confirmed on-site.
