Mountain View RV Park

This campground had all the amenities we needed… electric and water hook-ups, picnic table, clean restrooms, warm showers, and laundry facilities. Could have played cornhole and other yard games too. Bar with lots of tvs to watch Sunday football, while it rained was a bonus. Showers are coin operated but provided a ridiculously generous time limit… we were very comfortable staying an extra night due to the weather and some issues we needed to troubleshoot in our van.

FHU. Easy in and out. Nice space between rigs. Small bar and restaurant on site. Perfect for our 40 ft MH pulling a car.

We stayed here for 2 nights in July 2025. We were on the way back from Yellowstone and planned a stop here so we could go to Craters of the Moon. It's a lovely park, very clean, nice people. The only thing that was disappointing was that there is a BBQ restaurant on-site that had fantastic reviews and it happened to be closed on the days we were there. This is right on a main road, but Arco is a quiet town and I did not notice any traffic noise at all. There were fields around the rest of the park and horses in one of them so we visited them one night on a walk.

The site was fairly level. It had some shade and full hookups. There was a picnic table at the site. There’s a nice dog run area. They have An outdoor games area with corn hole etc. At this time they’re not selling propane. They have laundry and showers, that both are costly. $2.50 for a small washer load, and another $2.50 for dryer. Our site did not have grass, and our dogs ended up with pitch stuck in their fur from the conifers. It’s not too far from Craters of the Moon NM.

Great little RV park. Reasonably priced, fantastic staff, pull thru sites, and great view of the mountains. Bathrooms and laundry were spotless. Main office also has a good bar and restaurant.

Nice campground, large fenced dog run, game area, restaurant & bar.  Older but clean restrooms; downside was pay showers, but they're exceptionally large!  Very convenient to town, and only some 15 miles from Craters of the Moon National Monument. Plan you visit for spring or fall, because this area can get HOT in the summer. In mid-September, we started our days in down jackets, but warmed into the low eighties by afternoon.

We stayed at this campsite for five nights and we're very happy with the accommodations. The site is very clean, including the laundry facilities. Super, super friendly staff made us feel welcome and comfortable during our stay. Staying at this campsite made it really easy to explore the Craters Of The Moon National Park, the ghost towns, and historical interests in the area. Fabulous large off leash dog area available. Big or small travelers fit well at this campsite!

Mt. View is in the small city of Arco ID, close to Craters of the Moon National monument. Reserving space was easy on line and making a change to our reservation was easy via email. The park has lots o trees and the sites are roomy. The owners are friendly and helpful. 24 hour laundry is available. The restaurant serves delicious BBQ, southern style in a small, homey setting.

The sites are very wide and spacious with grass in between. Full service. Very good cell phone service. The bathrooms are spotless and very large. The showers are about 5 ft by 5 ft! The owners are very friendly and accommodating. They run a great little restaurant right on the site with fantastic ribs!
