Small campground near a fire lookout

Nice primitive USFS site. It's about 30 min above the highway so a bit far. Close to the bald mtn lookout

Directions

From Idaho City, Idaho, travel 1 mile north on State Highway 21 to the turnoff of Forest Service (FS) Road 304. Turn right and proceed along FS Road 304 road approximately 13 miles. There are several intersections with other spur roads, look for the FS Road 203 follow it south 1/3 mile to Bald Mountain Campground
