Huckleberry Campground

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Highway noise from logging trucks marks early mornings at this established campground, though the friendly on-site hosts at each end help offset the road sounds with firewood sales and local knowledge. Several sites provide direct river access that works well for families with children wanting water activities. The campground sits right off the main highway, making arrival straightforward but requiring earplugs for light sleepers. Campers wanting quieter forest settings might consider Big Creek Campground a few miles northwest.

Been going here for years

Been camping/hunting here since I was a kid. Host is super friendly and helpful, 2 on site at each end of campground with firewood for purchase when allowed. Several spots have river access, great for kids. 4 stars only because is right off highway so bring earplugs for sleeping (logging trucks run the road often in early morning).
