Agency Creek Campground sits along a small creek in Salmon National Forest, on the historic Lewis and Clark trail near Lehmi Pass. Seven drive-in sites give anglers direct water access. RVs are limited to 15 feet. The campground has ADA-accessible toilets and allows pets, campfires, generators, and alcohol. Campers wanting more options in the area can browse campsites near Salmon National Forest. For a different setup, Salmon NF Dispersed off FS 089 near Gibbonsville is another nearby choice.
Description
Agency Creek Campground (4 campsites) is located along the Lewis and Clark National Backcountry Byway, near the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail and the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail. At the top of the pass, there is a memorial to Sacajawea. This secluded, arid area offers a variety of recreation activities including camping, biking, hiking, hunting, OHV riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
