Horseshoe Trails Camping Resort

Campers looking for a year-round base near Cleveland will find full hookups and wooded sites at this established resort, though the property operates within a deeded association requiring additional fees for amenities like pools and tennis courts. The campground accommodates RVs up to 32 feet with adequate parking, though reviewers note older infrastructure including restrooms and electrical systems that occasionally experience voltage drops.

Sites feature picnic tables among mature trees, providing privacy between spots. The on-site country store has limited inventory, and ice availability can be inconsistent. Staff receives positive marks for friendliness and service. For a different camping experience, Timber Ridge Resort offers an alternative just south of the area.

Great spot for a great price!

Let me first say that we do not use any of the amenities here at all. The amenities are mostly old, run down, and are not particularly kid friendly. That being said, this place is awesome for the campground itself with full hookups, 5G wifi, tons of trees and private wooded sites with picnic tables. There’s SO MUCH hiking nearby that’s just gorgeous and there’s a really great Ingles grocery store a few minutes away so you can stock up on supplies. We bought into the deeded ownership after only one visit. For $700/year, you can stay up to two weeks every month and they’re open year round. Totally worth it for a regular get away into nature.

Tucked back in the woods

Not the best campground we've stayed at. When reserving an RV site just be known that this is inside of an Association of deeded property and you will be required to pay for access to the pool, slide, tennis courts, BB Ball court and rentals of golf carts and Horseback riding. If you do not have a tow veh. There is allot of walking involved. Not that it is a problem but one of the pools and lake are a hike from the campground. My suggestion would be to have a shuttle available when you have no other means of transportation (Golf cart rentals are limited). It is an older CG that could use upgrading of the restrooms and electrical wiring as we did experience some low voltage drops. The campsites are fair. Our site fit our 32' Coach with enough room for a sedan to park in front of the site. There is however additional parking. The Country Store lacks a lot to be desired and Ice was in limited quantities (none at the CG office). The Staff was very friendly and courteous . It is an older CG . Reminds me of, and possibly was a Jelly Stone Campground.
