Pros & cons

I evacuated here for Hurricane Milton. Easy to get to & to get into. Staff have been friendly. Very basic park. Pros are concrete pad, tall shrubbery walls between most spaces, lovely lake w/boardwalk, dog poo bag stations, full hookups, small pool & laundry facilities (did not use). Cons are the concrete pads are narrow in most spots only wide enough to park, picnic tables are badly dated wood, grill on site was filthy & old, lots of dog poo around despite available bags, lake seemed to have a moderate amount of litter, lots of traffic noise from the highway & the dog area is TINY. However, I did feel very safe here, there’s a Winn Dixie 1 mile away & a dollar store. They have propane on site.

Great stay

Easy on easy off. Very quiet, considering you’re right near the road.  Nice long pull through sites.  Very private sites with shrubs around your site.  Concrete slab for the motorhome to park on .Clean restrooms, hot showers. Very reasonable rates $62 a night.  we normally stay at the KOA down the road but we refuse to pay $118 for a graveled pull through site.

Base camp for sightseeing

This makes a good base camp for sightseeing Jekyll Island and Brunswick, close to both. It appears to be used heavily by snowbirds on the I-95 corridor. PROS: Clean, well maintained, nearby fuel and grocery. CON: truck noise from I-95 all night. Looks like a trailer park.

Multi Family Meet Up

My mom booked a spot here for Nov-Feb and me, my husband and son (7) joined her on multiple occasions. She has a fifth wheel, we have a toterhome. The park welcomed and accommodated both well. The location is not fancy, but the park has adequate and clean facilities including; 3 bath houses, 3 laundry facilities, a dog park, clubhouse & pool. The park is conveniently located just minutes away from I-95, and is the perfect place for day adventures. We have taken day trips to; St Simon, Jekyll Island, Savannah, St Augustine, St Mary’s and Cumberland to name a few. There’s a Starbucks, Grocery, Dollar General, Auto Parts and many food options just around the corner. The store here carries a variety of RV and camping supplies and has a propane refill, as well. The staff here is very nice. The only notable missing amenities are a playground and no streaming on the park’s WiFi so make sure you have your own WiFi solution before you arrive. Our phone hotspots worked for tablets and laptop, but we had to get a T-Mobile portable WiFi for streaming. This park does not cater to small children per se, but has been a nice and super safe spot for multiple rigs and multiple families camping together. They even made sure to put us right across from mom each time we visited. All in all it’s a great place to spend a night or a few months. The Georgia coast is absolutely stunning and the people and food here are amazing! 10 out of 10 recommend adventuring in this area!

Brunswick, GA….Very large park

Sites are nice size. Our 42’ fit perfect. We have a cement pad, picnic table and grill. They have separate water if you want to wash your vehicle or rig. Laundry, dog park and a nice pool. Park looks pretty full but it’s huge and clean. Easy hookup!!! Appropriately priced. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

One night stay on trip north

I had a reservation and check in was very quick. All info needed for the stay was attacked to my quick checking packet. The staff is very nice and answered my questions. WIFI light it's streaming. They do have cable. The phone signal is great so we used our hot spot to watch TV. I will stay here in the future when traveling north or south. Convenient to Flying J and other fuel stops.

Great park just off 95

Clean huge pull thru sites. All concrete level sites with awesome hook ups! Very convenient, just off 95 if you need fast stop over, or close to Jeckyll Island, Brunswick, St. Mary's, etc. Excellent clean facilities and pool. Even nice pond for fishing or seeing Gators. Dog park and poop stations. Most sites are very private with bushes too. New section had enormous buddy campsites. Absolutely recommend this campground and will be one of our permanent stopovers. Cable and WiFi aren't great, but ok. Don't even hear 95 traffic and slept like a baby. Very reasonable too

Clean and cute

We needed a spot to stay on the beginning of our long travel. This RV park was really cute. We stayed at the buddy site and it was still enough room between our camper and my parents camper.

First timer

I was skeptical to buy an RV and was just as skeptical to get my camp on. Pleasantly surprised and intrigued to do it again. Could this be a new addiction? If all campgrounds are like this one, I’m in!

Great Place

This resort is as good as any we have visited. Close to I95, thus a little noise from traffic. Great pool, fishing is catch and release, Buddy sites are available, close to Saint Simons and Jekyll Island, and restaurants. We have visited here 3 times and will be back.

Beautiful

All sites are pull thru’s and paved. Restrooms/showers very clean. On sides of rv are bushes that give you privacy. We were at site 301, close to the restroom, since we were taking my 93 year old Dad with us. Walked down to the water and dock. They pick up your garbage everyday. Very friendly. Definitely go back many times!

Excellent

This RV park is very easy on off from I-95.   Extremely nice staff, efficient and organized.   The spots are paved, clean and easy  in and out.  Room for my 40 coach, tow car and trailer.   Great areas to walk your dog, nice pond adjacent to park ( no swimming due to aligators) but lots of activity, fish, turtles, birds, etc.   Winn Dixie, liquor, fuel etc nearby.   Fill up LP on premise.   Close to St. Simons, Brunswick, restaurants etc.  Highly recommend.

Nice resort

Coastal GA resort is a very nice resort. Fishing is good, nice pool, and love sitting by the water. Spaces are very tight, and the stairs come down almost on top of the picnic table bench. Very clean.
