A few nights

We stayed here while going to Universal. It was grassy. No security. We kept tripping the 30A breaker with AC on and a hot plate or microwave. But in the end price seemed reasonable for what it was. They did have a note saying electric lines were being improved and power may intermittently go out.

Not a great Campground, Great community and location

If you never stayed at an Encore Park in Florida, this is as average as it gets for them.  Tight sites, older infrastructure.

There is a tight community here and if you are spending your TT max of 2 weeks, and you want to be, you can be integrated into the community.  Our kid busted his butt for folks and made $100 in 2 weeks helping people.

As others have said, we walked to downtown Winter Garden and love the small town.  We go back even when at other parks in the area.  Lots of traffic on 50 so, be aware if you can't sleep with noises, you need another location.

This place is a balance depending on what you are looking for in your experience.  As full-timers, we enjoy stopping by when we can but, we won't go out of our way to get a spot here.

Clean and friendly

First time Rv’ing and ended up in this park with my family. The place, including restrooms and showers are fairly clean. People I met here are nice, so was the staff on the phone. Very close to orlando, certainly not a nature retreat.

Great location, but needs work

We loved being close enough to ride our bikes to downtown Winter Garden. The kids enjoyed ice cream, the bike trail, and the splash pad, all while the parents enjoyed the brewing company and coffee shop (Axum). As for the campground, everything is shut down because of COVID, no playground access, no group campfires, no activities, and only 1 of the 2 pools are open with limited hours and capacity. Also, we were there for the 4th of July and there were no decorations, no socially distant activities, it felt unpatriotic. The lots themselves though were spacious with a paved area to park your vehicle.

Near Disney and Universal Studios

The stars just reflect that this is an older campground near a busy road serving a larger city. It does this job well. (If you are an encore member-it is part of that group.)

This is campground provides a good location to downtown Wintergarden with its charming downtown with cute shops and restaurants.

Our favorite activity is biking to the trail head for the West Orange rails to trail which is located downtown @ 3 miles from campground. This rail to trail is 22 miles long and can be extended another 9 miles ....if you link to South Lake Trail.

Also close biking (and driving distance) is Winter Garden Village -a great big outdoor mall with big name stores and specialty stores (easy 5 mile bike ride on sidewalks and multi-use trails not related to the West Orange trail.)

If you want to use this as a base for attractions. It is 21 miles to Disney and 15 miles to Universal Studios.

We stay here routinely for maintenance appointment for our Newmar RV at Independence RV and there are many big RV and Trailer showrooms in the area.

What you can expect at the Campground itself- tight quarters with a lot of long term residents and surprisingly a few tiny homes too.

When it rains it does get muddy and it looks like there is a propensity towards standing water after a rain. However, we get full hook ups with cable and and short term stay sites are a bit bigger than the long term and this has outweighed the water issue. The staff is always helpful and attentive and we have stayed here 3 times.

There are 2 pools, shuffle board, dog park, fishing pond, laundry room, nice mail room with lounge and free Wifi and many planned activities.

Happy Camping! Pamela and Keith!
