Walmart — Bushnell Supercenter

You’ll access this Walmart Supercenter in under a minute after exiting I75 heading either north or south. The accompanying parking lot is flush with diagonal parking and spacious parking spots with the entire lot being landscaped with ancient and live oaks just sweating Spanish moss, which in-turn provides solid shade to some of the luckier parking spots that might be available here. While the store lives up to its Supercenter name, the lot is only medium-sized, but it feels about right for this otherwise rural environ. And while the store is busy with in-and-out traffic, there’s nothing here that is too unwieldly, including the noise level, which honestly surprised us being this close to a major highway. 

There’s excellent night lighting delivering some safe & secure vibes for sure. The best parking to be had here is either on its northern front, or likely better, the western flank of the parking pad where in-bound traffic is at its lowest. This oversized low-cost big box retailer should be able to provide you just about any supply that you need to stock up on. If not, have no fear as nearby there’s a Dollar Tree, Tractor Shop, Advance Auto Parts, Dollar General and True Value Hardware shop.  And in the event you’d like to grab some grub, while there’s a smattering of fast-food restaurants near I75 like Pizza Hut, Starbucks, Burger King, McD’s, Little Caesars, Popeyes, Wendy’s, Subway and KFC as well as in town and slightly further afield you’ll find Big Bass Grill Lakefront Restaurant & Marina, Beef ‘O’ Brady’s, Wood Shed, Darrell’s Diner, Coney Island, Odd Cuples Café and Tacos Mi Mexico. Should you need to fuel up, there’s a Circle K and Murphy USA right in front of this Walmart Supercenter.
