Description
The River Road Campground is located in the Lake George State Forest (Volusia County), about 15 minutes southeast of Astor, FL. This campground has the following facilities: campsites communal pitcher pump (non-potable) and communal portalet. No electric hookups avaliable. Recreational activities featured here are: hiking, horseback riding, hunting, picnicking, bird watching, wildlife viewing and photography.
- Be bear aware: keep all food out of sight in approved containers or locked inside your vehicle and remove all food from the area after eating.
- A communal pitcher pump with Non-potable water and a communal portalet are avaliable on site. No electric hookups at this facility. A gate combination is required to enter this campground. The combination is found at the very bottom of the confirmation email sent from Reserve America when a site is booked.
- Don't Move Firewood: Please protect Florida forests by preventing the spread of invasive species. Firewood can carry insects and diseases that can threaten the health of our forests.
