Florida Country

Not a bad little campsite. Actually got a site 010 for the 4th of July the day before our trip off the state.gov site. Also called once we arrived and a nice lady on the phone was helpful.

Camping during the 2020 pandemic kept the small campground half full, which was nice. It’s rustic, portapotty, well water and pump. Fire pit, and picnic table, and other USA camp basics.

Highlights were not the crazy mosquitos. But instead the short walk to the river (can’t swim unless you’re crocodile Dundee) because we did see a nice big aligator just chilling. Turtles, fish jumping, crafty spiders, and huge a huge eagle too.

Could recommend for one night if your driving through.
