Description
Mutual Mine Group Campground is located within the Mutual Mine Recreation Area, in the Withlacoochee State Forest (Citrus County), less than one half hour drive south of Inverness, FL. The campground is best suited for organized Youth Groups, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, Church Groups, etc.. The campground is located next to a man-made lake and has the following facilities: central potable water and bath house.

Please contact WSF Dispatch at 352-797-4100 each day before you begin outing to verify if there will be any prescribed burns during your trip.
No hunting allowed in campgrounds. Please refer to kiosk or contact myfwc.com for specific hunting seasons and dates if planning on using any of the hiking trails.
This campground is located within Wildlife Management Area. It is recommended that visitors wear 500 square inches of Blaze Orange while hiking outside of campground during hunting seasons.
This is limited firewood available for donation at this location. You may pick up and burn any downed wood. Green wood may not be cut down. Chainsaw use is prohibited.

Directions
**Via I-75:** Take Exit 329 SR 44 (Gulf-Atlantic Highway) for Wildwood, FL. Head west on SR 44 towards Inverness. At the intersection with US 41, continue west to the traffic light at CR-581 (Pleasant Grove Road) and Applebee's restaurant. Go south on CR-581 (Pleasant Grove Road) approximately 6 miles to FR (Trail)16. Turn right (west) and the entrance to the campground will be on your left. **Via Suncoast Parkway:** Take the Suncoast Parkway (TR-589) north to the Interchange at US Hwy 98. Bear right to US Hwy 98 (south) and continue approximately 3.5 miles to C-491 (Lecanto Hwy). Turn left (north) on C-491 and continue C-480 (Stage Coach Trail) and turn right (east). Continue east on C-480 (Stage Coach Trail) to the stop sign at C-581 (Pleasant Grove Rd). Turn left and continue north on C-581 approximately 4.5 miles to FR (Trail) 16 and the directional sign announcing the Mutual Mine Recreation Area. Turn left (west) and the entrance will be on your left.
