A reservation for this campground DOES NOT grant after-hours access to any secured day use areas or campgrounds EXCEPT where the reservation has been made. Nor does it grant access to Mutual Mine Campground for DAY USE as this area is no longer open to day use, except for those who have reservations specifically for camping at Mutual Mine Campground.
The Florida Forest Service will close all campgrounds and recreation areas on State Forests if the county where the State Forest is located is placed under a Tropical Storm or Hurricane WARNING by the National Weather Service. Reservations will be automatically refunded for closures related to tropical weather.

Whether you want a day's ride or a full equestrian camping trip, enjoy riding through some of the most beautiful public lands in Central Florida. Reservations are required to camp or use the dining hall/pavilion/ BBQ facility. Groups must obtain a State Forest Use Permit. The Tillis Hill Day Use Area has a day use fee. Call (352) 344-4238. Features - Pavilion - Commercial BBQ grill/smoker - Dining hall/meeting room No pets allowed Equestrian trails: - One Day Trail is 12 miles. - Two Day Trail is 24 miles. Facilities - 37 campsites with paved slabs, electricity, water, picnic table and fire ring (2) bathhouses - 28 horse stalls. Two stalls are designed for stallions. A communal corral is also available. Dump station Reservations required. Call (352) 344-4238. NOTE : ALL horses must have proof of current negative Coggins test results when on state lands. ALL children under the age of 16 are required to wear a protective helmet while riding on state lands.

**Physical Address:** 9231 South Trail 13, Inverness, FL 34452 **USNG:** 17R LM 61840 78609 **Via I-75:** Take Exit 329-SR 44 (Gulf-Atlantic Highway) for Wildwood, FL. Head west on SR 44 towards Inverness, FL. At the intersection with US 41, head west to the traffic light at CR-581 (Pleasant Grove Road). Go south on CR-581 (Pleasant Grove Road) approximately 10 miles to C-480 (Stage Coach Trail). Turn right (west) on CR-480 (Stage Coach Trail). and continue to FR-13, turn right (north). Contintue to the fork in the road and take the right fork up the hill to Tillis Hill Recreation Area and Campground. **Via Suncoast Parkway:** Take the Suncoast Parkway (TR-589) north to the Interchange at US Hwy 98. Bear right to US Hwy 98 (south) and continue approximately 3.5 miles to C-491 (Lecanto Hwy). Turn left (north) on C-491 and continue C-480 (Stage Coach Trail) and turn right (east). Continue east on C-480 (Stage Coach Trail) to FR-13. Turn left and continue to the fork in the road. Take the right fork and continue up the hill to Tillis Hill Recreation Area and Campground.
