Convenient Highway Exit to Pristine Parking Accommodations

Part of the One 9 Fuel Network, this Mr. Fuel Travel Center is located on the outskirts of JAX as you are on the eastside of the 295 beltway, where you will follow all of the Jacksonville Zoo exit signage to reach this gasoline depot. This Mr. Fuel is quite popular with the big rigs as it offers up DEF, diesel, CAT scales as well as ample space for parking larger-than-normal 18 wheelers, RVs and 5th Wheelers with an oasis of space on the retailer’s eastern most flank. In front of the store you’ll easily spot from the road 10 individual fueling stalls – for cars and trucks only – while the semis will need to refuel in the rear. The entire place feels brand spanking new with very friendly staff, impeccably clean restrooms, reservable showers and a marketplace serving up hand-roped pizza, salads, sandwiches and typical roadside fast food bits with an imbedded Dunkin’ Donuts. The pavement here feels freshly laid offering up 27 individual public slots to park in with excellent lighting at nighttime and entirely secure location with chain-linked fence surrounding the store and its lot. The best bit about this place is its VERY close proximity to 295, making a layover incredibly convenient, quick and worry-free.

While scoring criteria may vary from one person to the next, here are the 5 most important criteria that informed my rating of this overnight location: convenience (EZ on- and off-access), safety & security, quality (of facilities), peace & quiet and amenities (either on-site or nearby).
