Everglades Isle Motorcoach Retreat

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Airboat tours, fishing, and Everglades wildlife viewing draw motorcoach travelers to this waterfront resort on the edge of Everglades City. Everglades Isle Motorcoach Retreat sits along a small river where airboats run regularly throughout the day, giving waterfront sites direct views of the water and a constant soundtrack to match. This is a full-hookup facility with electric, water, and sewer connections, accommodating rigs up to 60 feet, though reviewers note the resort enforces age restrictions on motorhomes regardless of their condition.

The waterfront location is the defining feature here, for better or worse. One reviewer described it as "a blessing and a curse," noting the water views alongside the noise from airboats launching across the river. Sites closest to the entrance tend to get the most sound exposure, so campers who want quieter surroundings should request a site farther down from the entrance. Falling coconuts have also been flagged as a genuine hazard near certain sites, worth keeping in mind for anyone traveling with small pets or children.

The resort runs seasonally from November through April, which aligns with South Florida's drier months and lower mosquito activity. Amenities include showers, WiFi, drinking water, and pet-friendly policies. Breakfast and other services are available on-site, though at least one reviewer found the pricing steep. Nearby alternatives include Outdoor Resorts-Chokoloskee Island and Chokoloskee RV Park to the south, and Big Cypress National Preserve Dispersed near Ochopee to the northeast for a different style of camping. Book early for peak winter weekends, as waterfront sites fill quickly.

Campers frequently mentioned beautiful waterfront sites but consistently cited disruptive airboat noise throughout the day. Several reviews noted high pricing and mixed staff experiences, though location near Marco Island was praised.

Poor

Stayed with friends.  Very expensive they offer breakfast but charge outrageous prices.  Otger things are offered but tgey charge a pretty penny.  Everyone complained about it.  The maintenance guy is rude talks about all the owners and rides around all day like he owns the place. Mosquitoes are horrible. The airboats are loud and run all day. You cant have a conversation out when they pass. I may return with my friends but I would never pay to be here

Disappointed

This place will not take older motorhomes regardless of condition. This is very disappointing when you take pride in your older rig and keep it nice : (

Amazing resort

I have to say i was very impressed with the resort and staff, it was way above my expectations, very close to Marco Island and Naples. I will dedinetly come back.

Gorgeous place

We loved this park. We were right on the water which was a blessing and a curse. It was so pretty but airboats launched from the other side of the water and it was very noisy all day long. Park was pristine and well run. Only negative was the noise. In the future we will choose non waterfront or the furthest down from the entrance! Word of caution...watch for falling coconuts. One in the pic fell right next to where we were sitting. Would’ve killed our small pup!

For larger RV’s

Unfortunately we weren’t able to stay here since it is for larger RV’s. If you are in this area with a motor coach and looking for a nice spot that has things to do near by this is a great choice. It sits on a small river that the airboats go up and down, which can be a little noisy but if you don’t mind it’s a great choice. We did an airboat tour of the mangroves right across from the resort & marina at Captain Jack’s which was so much fun!!! Afterward we drove to a little cafe on the water where we had Stone Crab and calamari, DELICIOUS!!
