The Florida Forest Service will close all campgrounds and recreation areas on State Forests if the county where the State Forest is located is placed under a Tropical Storm or Hurricane WARNING by the National Weather Service. Reservations will be automatically refunded for closures related to tropical weather.
Description
- No electric hook-ups.
- Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
- Pets must be on a leash.
- Hunting occurs during scheduled hunt seasons, as listed at myfwc.com. Trail users should wear day-glo orange during hunt seasons.
- Wildlife proof all food.
- Forest is open for day use visitors from 1.5 hours before sunrise until 1.5 hours after sunset.

Directions
From Jacksonville FL take I-10 west to exit 343, US HWY 301 south. Follow US HWY 301 south (4 miles). Turn left onto Normandy Blvd, head east (1 mile). Turn right onto CR 217, heading south (1 mile). Turn left onto Long Branch Rd, heading east (6 miles). Bear left at Nolan Ridge Baptist Church and follow to Bootleggers Campground entrance sign. Turn right into campground.
