Beautiful state park, very clean .. fishing, lake swimming, hiking trails. Bathrooms, free showers .. stores within a 5 minute drive. Most of the camp ground site are not secluded .. I like the back right ring in the 80's and 90's to have some privacy and access to the stream. Check out Leather Man…

We were their for 4 nights and 5 days. Very rewarding visit. Rangers and other campers were very friendly. The sites are very spacious and clean. The park it self is also well kept and clean. Lot of good hiking trails with a scenic view and waterfall to discover. Beach was nice, just a bit crowded.…

Directions
From Route 8 north: take Exit 38. Turn left at the end of the exit ramp to first traffic light. Turn left at traffic light onto US Route 6 west. Park entrance is a 1/2 mile on the right on US Route 6. From Route 8 south: take Exit 38. Go straight ahead at the end of the exit ramp to US Route 6 west. Park entrance is on the right.
