Wind River Bluff (Late July 2026)

Great backcountry spot 1 mile in from the East Portal. Water access is near and it includes a privy! Easy enough for my sea-level living 5 year old to make it there in less than an hour!

Good View

The campground is across the stream and up a steep hill on the bluff. Interesting rocks in the area and pine trees. Also has a view of distant snow capped mountains.
