Backcountry site
Permit required for camping here in RMNP(You can get one in Grand Lake or Estes Park at the Park Visitors Center). Perfect for hikers and climbers as the site is located at 10,000 ft. Pack in and pack out. Water is available from Glacier Creek (you will need to treat it before drinking). It takes about 4 hours to get here from the trailhead. Make reservations ahead of time as weekends and trips to RMNP are fairly popular.
