Overview
Longs Peak Campground is located about 20 minutes south of Estes Park on Highway 7. This small, tent-only campground is nestled in a forested area that is 9,500 feet (3000 m) above sea level. This campground has vault toilets and no water. Campers must bring their own drinking and fire dousing water when camping at Longs Peak Campground. Additionally, camping at Longs Peak does NOT cover reservations for the rest of the park. Reservations are still required for entrance at all other areas of Rocky Mountain National Park.
Facilities
Each campsite has one parking spot, a fire ring, and picnic table. There are 4 vault toilets available for use in the campground.
Fee Info
$35 per night by card or scan and pay. If planning on using the scan and pay feature you must download the recreation.gov application to your phone prior to arrival due to limited service and reception.
