The Cabins at Steamboat Lake

Overview

The Cabins at Steamboat Lake are 10 privately operated camper cabins managed by Steamboat Lake Marina, located within Steamboat Lake State Park near Clark, Colorado. The cabins sit among aspen and pines, within a short walk of the marina and close to the shore of the 1,100-acre Steamboat Lake reservoir at approximately 8,100 feet elevation. The property is well-suited for families, anglers, and water sports enthusiasts visiting the park.

Facilities

Ten 12-by-12-foot log-construction camper cabins sleep up to six guests depending on cabin. Cabins are heated and include mattresses, picnic tables, and fire rings; bedding is not provided and guests should bring their own. Shared bathhouse facilities with showers and toilets serve all cabins. Cabin 5 is wheelchair accessible. Laundry is available on-site.

Recreation

The marina rents motorized and non-motorized watercraft including pontoons, fishing boats, ski/wakeboard boats, kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards. Fishing is a primary activity on the lake. A multi-use trail trailhead is located directly behind the marina building, and cross-country ski trails begin steps from the cabins in winter. The general store sells fishing tackle, bait, fishing licenses, camping gear, firewood, and sundries.
