Mountain star and lake views

Nicely separated sites. Superb view of Hawn’s peak. Depending upon chosen site, good views of lake or Hawn’s park. Site 42 just glimpses of lake. Campground was nearly empty mid week late September. Nice. Quiet. Level spots large tent pads. Heated flush restrooms and showers. Very limited T-Mobile. Very good star watching.

Beautiful vistas and well maintained

We spent three nights here and loved it. There are many campsites on the edges of the campground loops that have trees and afford more privacy, but we were late in booking.  As it turned out, we had a great view and deer came through the meadow in the evenings.  Sites are level and well-maintained. The wildflowers were beautiful and the views of the lake and the mountains were gorgeous. There are nice hiking trails in the park and the lake looks like an awesome place for paddle boarding and canoes if you're into that sort of thing. A nice little beach for the kids, too. There are brand new showers in Harebell. The camp rangers and hosts were very helpful and pleasant.

Stunning lake, lots of beauty to see.

We visited this site in Hahns Peak for the first time, it is breathtaking with the scenery it offers. We were able to experience beautiful mountain scenery, have an easygoing time on our paddle boards, and experience the adventure of the trails. Friendly and helpful camp hosts, great environment. It is a popular campground, so you are likely to have several “neighbors”. Nothing wrong with a little company though!

Worth the trip!

Beautiful views 😍. Not much privacy but the views are magnificent. New camp service being built. Right now, just a pit toilet. Short drive to marina for showers.

Wonderful views & great spots

We stayed at Arnica campsite in Sunrise Vista. 3 tents and a car. Lots of access to restrooms & potable water. Lake & shower access is about a mile away drive or 1/2 mile walk on a trail. The park had a lot of events and we did a nocturnal night hike and a star party the next. 10/10

Best Lake Views in Colorado

We spend memorial weekend at this beautiful place. Weather is always changing. We had snow, rain, sun, and some wind. Be prepared to have temperatures in the 20’s at the end of May at night. Trails for bikes and hiking around the lake are easy. Campsites are close, but not a major issue. You need to pay $9 per day per car. In general a very nice isolated location that will help you to disconnect from reality.
