Sitting on BLM land outside Loma, North Fruita Desert is a dispersed camping area positioned directly alongside the area's mountain bike trail network. Amenities are basic but functional: pit toilets, picnic tables, and campfire rings. Big rigs can access the site by vehicle, and cell service is available. Campers who want nearby alternatives can find the North Fruita Desert Upper Campground roughly a mile and a half north. This spot works best for mountain bikers who want to camp at the trailhead.
